Martha Betts was born in 1625 at England.¹ She married Nathaniel Graves, son of Thomas Graves and Sarah (?), on 16 January 1655 at Hartford County, Connecticut; They had the following children: Sarah b. 4 Oct 1656, m. Samuel Bradfield; Mary b. 11 Nov 1658, m. John Deming 5 Jan 1684, he was b. 9 Sep 1658 and d. 25 Nov 1729; Rebecca b. Feb 1660; Nathaniel b. 1662, d. 5 Jan 1681; Martha b. 15 Jul 1667, m. John Russell 9 Apr 1691, d. 15 Jul 1740; and Abigail b. 15 Oct 1669, m. Ebenezer Belden, son of John and Lydia Belden.¹ Martha Betts died on 13 April 1701.¹

Moses Nash married Rebecca Graves, daughter of John Graves and Sarah White; They had a son, John, who married Mary Graves, daughter of Naboth Graves of New London, Connecticut.^1,2

Lydia Graves married Thomas Graves, son of John Graves and Sarah White, on 1 January 1719 at Hatfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts; They had the following children: John b. 16 Oct 1719, m. ca Apr 1742, d. 1798; and Lydia b. 20 Jun 1726, never married, d. 1779.¹

Mary Short was born circa 1667; She was the daughter of Clement Short.¹ She married Bartholomew Green, son of Samuel Green and Sarah Clark, circa 1687 at Massachusetts; They had the following children: Mary, m. Bezoan Allen; Elizabeth, and Deborah, m. 24 May 1726 John Draper.¹ Mary Short died on 28 March 1709.¹

Jane Toppan married Bartholomew Green, son of Samuel Green and Sarah Clark, on 10 June 1710 at Massachusetts; She was the daughter of Jacob and Hannah Sewall Toppan. Judge Sewall officiated at the marriage of his niece. They had a son, Samuel, b. 28 Jul 1712, d. in infancy.¹

Abigail Hill married Timothy Green, son of Samuel Green and Sarah Clark, on 26 March 1749 at Connecticut.¹ Abigail Hill died on 1 March 1779.¹

Karel Klain was born circa 1816 at Rjeka, Croatia; He was the son of Bernard Klain, a tobacco spinner at a tobacco shop in Sedlice. Katerina Flebacova was his mother.¹ He married Antonie Horky, daughter of Jan Josef Horky and Anna Johana Peritze, on 10 August 1863 at Kutna Hora, Bohemia; They were married by Frantisek Turovsky, Priest. Karel was a Roman Catholic and a steam engine mechanic at a tobacco shop, Rjeka in Croatia.¹

Vaclav Nadeje was born circa 1848 at Bohemia. He married Barbora Horky, daughter of Jan Josef Horky and Anna Johana Peritze, on 18 May 1872 at Kutna Hora, Bohemia; He was a tailor and the son of Antonin Nadeje and Anna Hovorkova from Cervene Janovice. They were married by K. Vorlicek, Priest.¹

Alois Nemecek was born circa 1849 at Bohemia. He married Josefina Horky, daughter of Jan Josef Horky and Anna Johana Peritze, on 14 May 1870 at Kutna Hora, Bohemia; He was a Roman Catholic, employed at the tobacco factory in Kutna Hora, and son of Vaclav Nemecek and Katerina Janovska.¹

Mary Kasper was born circa 1867 at Kutna Hora, Bohemia.¹ She married Anton Hosek, son of Anton Hosek and Marie Vojtisek, on 28 April 1889 at New York; Had children Rudolf b. 1 Dec 1891, Henry (Indrick), b. 2 Mar 1892, Arthur, b. 25 June 1894, Florence, Helen, b. 26 Aug, Elsie, b. 28 May 1897, and Howard, b. 10 Dec 1906, all in New York City. Listed on the 1900 census were children in this order: Henry, Rudolph, Arthur, Elsie and Florence.^2,3,1

John Andrew Maskiell was born in March 1882.¹ He married Jeannette Hosek, daughter of Anton Hosek and Marie Vojtisek, on 25 April 1908 at Queens County, New York.^2,3
