Samuell Thrasher married Bethia Brooks, daughter of Gilbert Brooks and Elizabeth Symons, on 5 December 1683 at Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.1 Samuell Thrasher and Christopher Thrasher were named on a quitclaim deed by Maj. William Bradford to the inhabitants of Taunton on 9 July 1689 at Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts; The fact that he died in 1679 indicates that he is not the Christopher found on the quitclaim deed, but another Christopher has not been found amongst the Thrashers in this area. Perhaps an older list of inhabitants was used for the quitclaim deed or the death date is incorrect.2,3
