Johannes Riehm was baptized on 28 June 1673 at Pliezhausen, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.¹ He was the son of Martin Riehm and Margaretha Schirm.¹ Johannes Riehm died on 23 October 1675 at Pliezhausen, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, at age 2.¹ He was buried on 24 October 1675 at Pliezhausen, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.¹

Hanns Riem married Ursula (?).¹

Johannes Schirm was baptized on 27 December 1597 at Kirchentellinsfurtt, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.³ He was the son of Stephan Schirm and Anna (?).³ Johannes Schirm married Maria Vogel, daughter of Hans Vogel, on 15 June 1625 at Kirchentellinsfurtt, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.³ Johannes Schirm died on 25 February 1659 at Kirchentellinsfurtt, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg, at age 61; The marriage record has a notation that Johannes Schirm died on 25 Feb 1659. The death entry, however, is the first for the year 1659 and farther down the page there is an entry for 27 January. It could have been written out of sequence or he could have actually died in January rather than February. His death record is not in good shape but the 25 is very clear.³

Sara Leffler married Martin Riehm, son of Hanns Riem and Ursula (?), on 1 November 1647 at Pliezhausen, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.¹ Sara Leffler died on 23 February 1662 at Pliezhausen, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.

Ursula (?) married Hanns Riem.¹

Margaretha Riehm was born on 18 November 1650 at Pliezhausen, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.¹ She was the daughter of Martin Riehm and Sara Leffler.¹

They had the following children, all born at Hartford: Hannah, bp. 6 Jan 1677, m. 20 Feb 1700 Edward Scofell of Haddam, 1706 Benjamin Smith; Martha, bp. 1 Aug 1679; Andrew, bp. 31 Jul 1681, d. 31 Jul 1704, slain by Indians; Mercy, bp. 7 Sep 1683; John, bp. 22 Feb 1685; Dorothy, bp. 22 Apr 1688, m. 3 May 1716 John Gridley of Farmington, Connecticut; Mary, bp. 2 Nov 1690; Ebenezer, bp. 18 Oct 1696, m. Elizabeth White; and Elizabeth, bp. 12 Feb 1698. The Stocking Ancestry by Hobart Stocking says erroneously that he m. Sarah Chatterton when it was his brother, Samuel who married her.^1,2

Hannah Ensign married Caleb Benton, son of Samuel Benton and Sarah Chatterton, circa 1718 at Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut; She was the daughter of Thomas Ensign of Hartford. They had the following children: Hannah, bp. 31 Jul 1720; Caleb, b. 28 Jan 1722, bp. 4 Feb 1722; Violet, bp. 8 Dec 1723; Abraham, bp. 11 Apr 1725; Thomas; and twins Sarah and Susannah, b. 23 Feb 1729. Caleb was supposed to have died in 1725 so either that is wrong or Hannah remarried and the twins shouldn't be attributed to him.¹

Mary Skinner married Daniel Benton, son of Samuel Benton and Sarah Chatterton, on 3 January 1722 at Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut; She was the daughter of John Skinner of Hartford. They had the following children born at Tolland: Mary, b. 17 Oct 1722, d. 16 Mar 1723; Daniel, b. 6 Jan 1724; William, b. 12 Nov 1725; Mary, b. 9 Apr 1727, d. 4 Oct 1745; Elijah, b. 30 Jun 1728; Sarah, b. 8 May 1780, d. young; Hannah, b. 12 Jul 1731, d. young; John, b. 17 Jun 1732, d. young; Siloam, b. 11 Dec 1733, d. young; Lydia, b. 2 May 1735; Abigail, b. 25 Nov 1736, m. 19 Jul 1757 Benjamin Davis.¹

John Camp Jr. married Hannah Benton, daughter of Andrew Benton and Hannah Stocking, circa 1671; They had a daughter, Hannah, baptized 24 Nov 1672. He remarried in 1675. Source 205 says she married Joseph Root.^1,2

Edward Scofield married Hannah Benton, daughter of Andrew Benton and Anne Cole, at Connecticut; He was from Haddam, Connecticut.¹

Abigail Carter married Jacob Benton, son of Samuel Benton and Sarah Chatterton, on 6 June 1724 at Connecticut; They had a daughter Abigail, b. 18 Sep 1725, bp. 19 Sep 1725, d. 4 Mar 1764, and m. Timothy Dodd.¹ Abigail Carter died on 27 September 1725.¹

Elizabeth Hinsdale was born on 9 January 1703.¹ She married Jacob Benton, son of Samuel Benton and Sarah Chatterton, on 4 April 1728 at Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut; They had the following children born at Hartford: Jacob, b. 2 Jan 1729, bp. 12 Jan 1729, m. Hannah Slade of Harwinton; Phineas, b. 10 Jan 1731, bp. 17 Jan 1731, d. 16 Aug 1789; Amos, b. 10 Nov 1732, bp. 12 Nov 1732; Barnabas, bp. 3 Jan 1735; and Elizabeth bp. 17 Jun 1738 in Harwinton, d. 16 Aug 1749.¹

Martha? Peck married Joseph Benton, son of Andrew Benton and Hannah Stocking, circa 1682 at Connecticut; She was a daughter of Deacon Paul Peck who left Joseph £5 in his will. They had a son, Joseph, who m. 11 Dec 1718 Sarah Pynchon. The Stocking Ancestry by Hobart Stocking states he married Mary Woodruff. This source has all the marriages wrong for the children of Andrew Benton and Hannah Stocking. This is no doubt wrong, too.^1,2

Nathaniel Cole married Mary Benton, daughter of Andrew Benton and Hannah Stocking, circa 1675 at Connecticut; They had a son, Nathaniel. Source 205 (The Stocking Ancestry) states that she married Matthew Woodruff--this source has been wrong about every marriage regarding the children of Hannah Stocking and Andrew Benton and no doubt errs here, too.^1,2

Jonathan Bigelow married Mary Benton, daughter of Andrew Benton and Hannah Stocking, after 1708 at Connecticut; They had a son, Joseph.¹ Jonathan Bigelow died on 9 January 1711.¹
