The obituary reads: "Mrs. Kate R. Robinson Searls, 89, widow of William P. Searles (sic), died yesterday at her home, 105 Burncoat street. She was born in Mansfield, O., daughter of John R. and Jane (Wilkinson) Robinson and had lived in Worcester many years. She leaves a daughter, Miss Florence Searls, Worcester; a sister, Mrs. P. W. Rose, Brooklyn, N.Y., and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Central Congragational Church. Funeral services will be held at her home Tuesday at an hour to be announced. Burial will be in Brooklyn, Conn."7

Katherine Taylor married John Riley Robinson, son of Richard Robinson and Rebecca Sage Riley, on 12 February 1885 at Grace Church, New York, New York.1 An announcement of John and Katherine's marriage appeared in the Newark Daily Advocate, Newark, Ohio, on Monday, March 23, 1885. The announcement read:
     "Mr. John R. Robinson, well known as the Superintendent of the old Sandusky, Mansfield & Newark Railway, now operated by the B. & O., was married last month to Miss Kate Taylor, a most estimable lady of New York City. Mr. Robinson is now Superintendent of the Santa Eulalia Sil-Mining Company, of Chihuahua, Mexico, and is largely concerned in mining interests. The happy couple returned at once to Chilhuahua.--Mansfield Daily News."2

An small news item appeared in the June 2nd, 1894 issue of the Frederick, Maryland "News", stating that "Nancy Jackson, a colored servant, has been arrested in Talbot county, charged with attempting to poison Mrs. John R. Robinson." Nothing more has been found to date regarding this supposed attempt.3 Katherine Taylor died in 1921 at Easton, Talbot County, Maryland.1

Bezaleel Thrasher was born circa 1719 at Taunton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.1,3 He was the son of Elnathan Thrasher and Lydia (?).2 Bezaleel Thrasher married Hannah West on 21 October 1742 at Norton, Bristol County, Massachusetts.4

He was mentioned in a notice dated 21 January 1785 which appeared in the Connecticut Courtant of 15 February 1785. The notice read in part: "Notice is hereby given to...Bezaleel Thrasher....Resident and Non Resident Proprietors of Middletown, That on the first day of June next will be sold at public auction, at the sign-post in said Middletown, so much of the real estates, that they were possessed of in the years 1778, 1779 and 1780, or that they now are in possession of, as will pay their several proportions of taxes due to me, together with costs and fees thereon, unless previously settled. Bezaleel Fisk, Collector".5 He found a dark brown or black horse about 8 or 9 years old and put a notice in the 14 July 1788 issue of the Connecticut Courant advertising the fact, asking the owner to come and pay charges and take the horse away.6

Bezaleel Thrasher was listed on the 1790 census taken on 7 February 1791 at Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut. In his household were 2 free white males aged 16 and up.7 He died on 25 March 1803 at Middletown, Middlesex County, Connecticut.1
