The Stocking Ancestry by Hobart Stocking states he married Mary Woodruff. This source has all the marriages wrong for the children of Andrew Benton and Hannah Stocking. Under the heading "The Names of such Inhabitants as have right in undivided Lands," George Stocine appears as 36th name in list of 121 proprietors of Hartford. He is credited with 20 acres out of a total of 3,281.1
