John Plummer was born circa 1785 at Maryland.1 There is an entry in the IGI for a John Plummer who married Nancy Plummer (maiden name???) on 7 Jan 1816 at the Evangelical Lutheran Or Lutheran Congregation Of Middletown, Middletown, Frederick Co., Maryland (I have a note taken from elsewhere which lists 6 Jan 1816). This is referenced by Film No. 0013933 Item 1 and Film No. 0013934. Both are transcripts of the originals.
Also there are two Plummers listed in the Frederick Co. Will book Liber A, No. 1, 1744 - 1777: Drusilla Plumer 291 and Thomas Plummer Senr. 481 (USGenWeb Archives for Frederick County). Probate records from same include Samuel PLUMMER deceased George PLUMMER executor. 100 acres sold 7 Jan 1782 and Final account Thomas PLUMMER deceased Anthony POULTNEY administrator. 6 Sep 1785 both from Probate Administration Accounts Liber GM #1 1777-1799.
