I will laugh often and I will love much. I will strive to gain the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children; I will accomplish my tast on this earth to the best of my ability. I must and always will be honest, true, faithful and loyal to myself and my wife (if I have one) and man. I will treat my wife with the devoted love and respect I showed to my dear mother; she will have my sole and complete love which but two things can break--death (if there is no hereafter) is one; and unloyalty, unfaithfulness or transferrence of her love upon another as the other. I will value my wife and the house she created for us; and my loyalty to her and our children shall be unshatterable. I will strive to leave the world a little better than I found it; if I can rescue one erring soul I will gladly do it; as I love God so I love life and the beauties of nature He created; I will look for the best in others and give the best to the world that is in me; all in all I want to live a Divine life of Love, Purity, Honesty and Enlightenment, so that I shall add my mite to the world's trend toward a keener civilization and leave my memory an inspiration and benediction to my children."
